We take no shortcuts on safety and actively enforce all Health and Safety and Work Cover regulatory requirements. Safety is a core value underpinning Markit Projects management culture.

We adhere to the highest standards of industrial safety by:

  • Making safety an essential and integral part of management accountability.
  • Ensuring every employee and subcontractor accepts safety as an individual responsibility and prerequisite to the planning of all activities. This includes site inductions for all, ‘toolbox’ meetings with subcontractors and the use of Safe Work Method Statements for high risk works.
  • Conducting appropriate education and training in safety as an integral part of the Groups technical training program.
  • Implementing our OH&S policy at all our construction sites and reviewing it regularly with qualified personal.
  • Establishing a lost time injury target of zero, which signals that there will be no tolerance of unsafe acts on our projects.


Our Quality Assurance Program leads the field. We oversee the control of all contractors and have a close relationship with our clients.

Our Quality Assurance initiative covers all of our work from design to handover. Markit Project’s experienced project management team identifies and eliminates potential issues faced by the development at all stages of the process. All construction work is checked and recorded at key stages by senior management to consistently ensure a high quality product is being delivered.
